I thought you all might be interested in this piece of information:

Yesterday me and my dad were out shopping around and we ran into his friend Jimmy. Dad told me before that Jimmy had played with the Who (backup band, I believe) and I asked him if that was him and dad went to ask him and Jimmy was like "Yah! I played with the Who and Cream and a bunch of other bands." and he went on to say "This was in Edmonton. They ended up staying for three days (!!!) at (some band)'s managers house. Peter Townshend and Keith Moon got into a fight and Keith was walking around the house with a black eye!!" ...I never knew that. I didn't think anyone else would either so why not share it here. (and other places!!!)

So. I've got some cool stuff to share.

My mum acutally works with Eric Claptons sister. I know most of you probably won't believe me but its true.
My dads best friend used to have a popular recording studio and he used to jam with bands like the Who and Clapton.
And the same friend used to be a backing guitarest for the Who!!!

Sweet, eh?

x-posted to a lot of places.

hello__goodbye_
I have just read and signed the online petition:

"John Lennon Day For Peace And Love On Earth"

hosted on the web by PetitionOnline.com, the free online petition
service, at:

http://www.PetitionOnline.com/Imagine/

I personally agree with what this petition says, and I think you might
agree, too. If you can spare a moment, please take a look, and consider
signing yourself.

This is for October 9th to be proclaimed as John Lennon Day For Peace and Love on Earth, which would obviously be shortened to John Lennon Day. For those of you who don't know, October 9th is John Lennon's birthday. I don't see why anybody would really be opposed to signing so if you have a minute to spare just sign it. They need 10 million signatures for this idea to be considered and with over 57000 signatures so far it seems that many people are for this idea.
